Baby Baby Baby!!

So I am not quoting a song but talking about this hidden gem I found in the bookstore yesterday. BabyBabyBaby is a very eccentric magazine based in Mexico City. The style and tone is very reminiscent of Nylon or 10 magazine mixed with the simplicity of an American Apparel ad. Ironic enough the magazine is sold worldwide including in American Apparel and in it's online store. I really loved the playful and non-glamorous nature of the editorials, the funky and eclectic illustrations and underground musicians featured in the magazine! In essence, you should definitely go to your nearest bookstore and try and find the latest issue of BabyBabyBaby!

Getting back on Track

LONDON...

NYC....

I just can't decide.. I need to sort myself out asap!! I'm suppose to be in London in about a month.. but then I have this longing for NYC too!! What is a girl to do?!?!?!

A bit of a gloomy day...

So I had a slow day just work and sleep.. but I did take advantage and rocked the all black look.. I decided to mix romantic and edge together and this is what it looked like...

So on another note I start my second job this week so saving for London is definitely going to start picking up! Can't wait London 09' !!!

the quest to find my style..

My poor style has really come full circle.. I went from living in the anything goes land of England to the LES and hispter scene in NYC to Charlotte,NC which to say the least isn't the most fashion forward place.. As I've begun to realize my style has been effected and it's created this odd hybrid..

I think it is by far the best representation of my style at the moment..

So I had work today, and spent some time with my little brother.. actually wasn't that bad! I'm going to try and keep this up.. going to use it as a creative outlet..

New direction...

So I have realized I am coming into my own in terms of my style so I'm going to try out some features of my outfits for the day...

Oh to feel youthful again..

So this week has definitely been an eye-opener..

1. I cut my hair and I am head-over-heels about my curly faux-hawk
2. Got stupidly drunk with my love Bottego.. and had everything like usual(ie. boys, alcohol, drunken banter, and drunken dancing!)
3. Officially got into uni at the American Intercontinental University of London
4. Realized my friends and family will be ok without me..
   
5. RECAPTURED MY YOUTH!!
